Doula (Childbirth Labor Assistant) Course Training Features:
* Explore the emotional and psychological journey of labor and birth.

Discuss the role of the doula during the prenatal, childbirth and postpartum
periods.

Learn how to support women and their partners if complications arise.
*
Describe the doula's scope of practice and ethical standards.
*
Learn specific aspects of setting up a doula practice.

Cost
of the Doula Training course includes:
Continental breakfast and refreshments
all days, all course materials, Doula business forms, free Doula referrals, e-group and DACO mentoring. We welcome
quiet nursing babies less than 9 months of age. Please make other arrangements
for older babies.
3-Day Course:
Early Registration: $275.00 if postmarked or submitted before or on June 18, 2010
Regular Cost: $375.00 if postmarked or submitted between Jun. 19 and Sept. 10, 2010

The Oklahoma Board of Private Vocational Schools approved the Doula Association of Central Oklahoma (DACO) as a professional organization, on April 2006, based upon DACO's status as an IRS 501 (C)(6) organization. Therefore pursuant to OAC 565:10-1-2(c)(4) DACO may continue to provide courses for the instruction of their members.
